Looking Back: A Memorable Evening at the Private Healthcare Excellence Awards.

Three weeks ago, on May 17th, 2025, we had the privilege of attending the Private Healthcare Excellence Awards at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belfast. Hosted by ITV’s Pamela Ballantine, over 350 finalists and guests gathered from across the island to celebrate outstanding achievements in private healthcare.

It was an elegant, black‑tie event, enhanced by an opening performance from the Ulster String Quartet, musical interludes from The Rock Choir, many light-hearted moments from comedian Andrew Ryan, and lively after‑party entertainment from Ibe Sesay.

That night, we were truly humbled to be honoured as the Irish Sports Clinic of the Year.

As the independent, expert judging panel noted,

“We were highly impressed with Gold Standard’s exceptional approach to rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance support. Their use of cutting-edge technology and evidence-based care is delivering outstanding results for athletes at all levels.”

They continued, highlighting that,

“Gold Standard deliver elite level support with community care at heart – they champion performance through purpose,”

and that we are

“Setting the standard in high performance, patient first recovery care.”

These humbling words resonate deeply with us, underscoring our genuine commitment to combining modern methods with the heartfelt care of our local community.

While the evening was a tremendous celebration of healthcare excellence, at Gold Standard Physio it's our everyday care that truly counts. We are deeply grateful for this recognition, yet even more thankful for the trust our local community continues to place in us.
