Our new Small Group Exercise Classes cater for All Ages and Abilities (from the Elite Athlete to the Sedentary Senior Citizen).
Furthermore, Personal Training services are also now available at Gold Standard (these are delivered by CORU-registered, WHO-approved Health and Fitness Professionals, who possess relevant Undergrad Degrees, Postgrad Diplomas and Master’s Degrees).

Clinical Pilates (Seniors)

Carefully crafted to be safe, progressive and grounded in the latest evidence, we're excited to launch our new Clinical Pilates course, delivered by Senior Physiotherapist and qualified Pilates instructor, Tríona Cleary.

This 8-Class course combines clinical assessment with progressive Pilates‑based training to safely restore function, manage pain and build long‑term resilience. Course benefits include:
🩺 Injury Recovery and Prevention:
Tríona will assess you one‑to‑one and give gentle, step‑by‑step exercises to help you recover faster and avoid setbacks.
🔥 Pain Management, including Lower Back Pain:
Practical, evidence‑based exercises are performed to ease ongoing pain, reduce flare‑ups and make daily tasks easier.
💪 Stronger Core and Better Trunk Stability:
The course includes targeted exercises that strengthen the deep muscles supporting your spine, so you feel steadier and more confident.
🏃🏻 Smoother, Safer Movement:
Tríona will also guide you through progressions that improve coordination and teach your body to move more efficiently.
😊 Better Mood and Wellbeing:
Simple mind–body work and breathing techniques are taught to boost mood, confidence and motivation.
🧘 Greater Flexibility and Joint Ease:
In the course, we use controlled movements to gently increase your range of motion and make everyday movement feel easier.
🪑 Improved Posture and Spinal Support:
You’ll also learn practical routines that help you stand and sit with less strain.
⚖️ Improved Balance and Lower Fall Risk:
We focus on stability and control exercises to help reduce the risk of falls, especially for older adults.
♿ Safe Options for long‑term conditions:
Exercises are adapted for osteoporosis, arthritis, breathing or neurological issues to maximise benefits while minimising risk.

You’ll have a comprehensive one‑to‑one check before you start the course to ensure the prescribed exercises match your unique needs.
📚 Evidence‑Based Programme:
Exercises and progressions follow current clinical best practice and are adapted for you as you improve.
👵 Designed for 60+:
Ideal if you’re an older adult recovering from a musculoskeletal issue, wanting better balance or less pain.
⚖️ Focus on Safe, Quality Movement:
We work slowly and carefully, prioritising good technique to help prevent injury.
👥 Small Classes (Max of 5):
Micro groups mean genuine personal attention and tailored modifications.
☕️🎉 Fun and Sociable:
Classes are friendly and welcoming, with refreshments served after each session.
