Across the festive / new year period, the Cloughjordan native recorded four wins, capped by a big Leopardstown victory, in roles as both jockey and trainer.

At the National Indoor Rowing Championships in UL, the Nenagh native broke national records in the Men’s 500 and 1,000 metre events (age category: 50 - 54).

On the 24th of January, Tipp were crowned Munster Under 16 “A” Camogie Champions after a fantastic all-round team display against Cork.

On the final day of January, St. Joseph’s CBS, Nenagh claimed their second Harty Cup in three years after overcoming St. Flannan’s at Cusack Park in Ennis.
